The Idea: A community based app for trans people where they
can track their transition, find resources, and meet people with similar experiences and interests.

The Concept: The word Ether means the upper regions of air beyond the clouds or the upper regions of space. When thinking of a name for the app I wanted something that evoked the feeling of the infinite to resemble the infinity that is gender identity and expression. Thus the space theme became the main catch of the design.

Research: Research was an incredibly important part of designing this app.
A large amount of the information and statistics I gathered were through organizations that advocate for transgender individuals or had research
statistics. However I also used my own knowledge from the trans community around me to hopefully create a more comfortable space.
